a pile of rings...

I have been busy designing and experimenting with new ideas for an upcoming exhibition... (more about that later on!) and in amongst that have been creating new pieces for my online shop... (and in amongst THAT there's been lots of accidental melting going on causing ruined pieces. Bah.)

Two handformed pods perch on top of a cluster of granulation. The whole ring has then been oxidized to give it a distinctive and sophistocated look. You can just see it on your hand holding a glass of champagne, eh?!

Two handformed pods sit on top of this highly textured ring. The texture has been achieved by a mixture of reticulation and satinization.. it's extremely comfortable to wear but gives the look of a rough, plucked-from-the-earth object...

Some of you who have been around for a while might remember this ring... it was made for an exhibition last year but I haven't been able to part with it since! It has been kept safe waiting for the right owner to come along... now's your chance ;)

You can buy these rings here, in my shop.
